I am a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at KAUST University, within the Physical Science and Engineering Division, working in the Computational Earthquake Seismology (CES) research group, in collaboration with Professor Martin P. Mai. My research focuses on a partially non-ergodic seismic hazard assessment using physics-based earthquake cycle simulations. I graduated from the Faculty of Science with a degree in Seismology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
My B.Sc. research addressed earthquake hypocenter solutions using local velocity models with manual and automatic P- and S-phase picking, as well as statistical processing of seismic catalogues, supported by software development as part of my thesis.
My M.Sc. Thesis focused on Tsallis entropy within the framework of non-extensive statistical mechanics, applied to the analysis of coda-wave increments during the 2011–2012 unrest period at Santorini.
During my (M.Sc./Ph.D.) studies at KAUST University, I developed expertise in numerical simulations, earthquake physics, and probabilistic seismic hazard assessment.

After completing my B.Sc., I spent the subsequent six years as a research associate at the National Observatory of Athens, where I was involved in a broad range of scientific projects.

I am interested in computational analysis and have experience with multiple programming languages (PC- and server-side), including MATLAB , C , C++ , Java (Developer of Android Apps) Google Play Porfile here , PHP , SQL , HTML , JavaScript.

My hobbies include astronomy, backyard astrophotography, guitar playing (classical and electric), and cycling.
